WHO SET DELHI ON FIRE????

I deliberately reacted late lest my voice get buried under the debris of lie traffic in WA and social media. I reacted late because the riot situation restrained me and my alert senses guided me to sensibly watch the critical situation before I pen down my studied observations on Delhi, the capital city.  Inaction on the part of administration, police and the government, more importantly the Home Ministry pained us all to see the BJP has wilfully let Delhi burn as the government machinery allowed the violence to go on for 3 days unabated.  Not a single FIR was lodged against the hate mongers till on Wednesday  Justice S Muralidhar of Delhi High Court very sternly showed his anguish towards Delhi police, the speeches of hate statements by politicians and the inaction of Union Home Ministry in particular. Thereafter 106 hooligans arrested and 48 FIRs have been lodged.  Justice Murlidhar is transferred. The timing, and again the all-in-night act the governmen...

BUDGET 2020 ANALYSIS

We have a crisis ridden economy. Economy has been in the weakest shape for the past many years. Budget 2020-21 has been placed by our FM, Nirmala Sitaraman in the parliament today, the 1st Feb, 2020. Has the budget recognised that our economy is in a crisis and it is a do-or-die situation to wade the nation out of the economic slump? We need to analyse whether the budget has to offer to impact a turn around in the economy. By the time the presentation of budget ended and fiscal deficit announced to be kept at 3.8% the Indian Stock Exchange, SENSEX plummeted 754.99 points ie 1.85%. Well stock exchange is not the ultimate barometer of economic condition. But the dampened sentiments did take a dip that is reflected in today's trading. Fund arrangement is really a big challenge before the government to infuse life into the ailing economy. That is why the recourse to PPP or Public Private Partnership has been proposed in many areas of government spendings.  Government plans t...

BJP PROMOTING CONSPICUOUS COMMUNAL NARRATIVE

What Modi and Shah do not dare to utter or pen down themselves allow them to be created in stroll stations and through bhakts to release such shit of material of communal divide just to divert the nation from the serious and important issues that need immediate action. So now swallow the truth that even Modi and Shah are no less than cowards and hypocrites of ugliest order.  The BJP groomed star campaigners like Anurag Thakur and Parvesh Varma are let loose to make incendiary and communally charged statements and slogans in the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. Otherwise from where they get the courage to cry for raping and shooting a particular community and declaring them traitors as it is done in banana republic? Who are behind to encourage them to be liberal with law and constitution of the country? The answer we all know. Why immediate action was not taken by party itself against them before India's Election Commission ordered their removal? In fact the BJP was not left...

SC SAVE THE CONSTITUTION

Today the country will be celebrating Constitution Day albeit till 2014 this day was observed as National Law Day as our Constitution was adopted on 26th November, 1949. On Constitutional Day Supreme Court will deliver her judgement on Maharashtra drama. The country has witnessed how the government can stoop so low to make mockery of constitution to pursue her political ambitions. The country has also witnessed the pettiness at its worst in all political parties to promote dynastic rule, compromise with their ideologies, the desperation for grabbing power by any means, role of money luring the key persons with creamy positions and withdrawal of  corruption charges by CBI and corruption probes by ED. Modi has always been trying to convince the nation that the present BJP government is different than the ones the country had so far. But the nation is a witness to the same ill practices of the previous government being followed by the Modi government. Ajit Pawar of NCP h...

MOVING FORWARD FROM DEATH

I lost my wife just as recent as on 12th October, 2019.  I am trying to get over the loss with stoic resilience. It's human nature to resist  change--particularly  when it comes in the form of adversity or challenge. But this change is unique as death is inevitable and facing such uncomfortable change with resilience helps us not only to survive change, but also learn and grow to stand by those around us who are unable to take the  shock of this painful change. I am the eldest among my brothers and also  brothers and sisters in-law and have an 83 year old mother-in-law and most importantly a motherless son. I am carrying them all to come to terms with this unhappy setback to view it as a great design of god. Death is hidden in all and devours all, everything in the world is in a constant flux and progresses from one state of impermanence to another. Hence death is a reality - a design of god encoded in creation as both cause and effect which become active i...

ECONOMIC SLOWDOWN HAS PUT FEAR OF GOD ON THE GOVERNMENT

Four major steps have been taken by the FM Nirmala Sitharaman in the last one month, and as TOI puts it, to fire "booster shots" to some of the worst immediate pain points of the economy to revive sluggish growth across affected sectors. Even the government has also endorsed her acknowledgement to the  slowdown in Indian economy by initiating 4 big steps by our FM to revive our economy, 2 press conferences and big announcement of FDI -- all one after the other during the last one and a half months can never be attributed to a hoax or a hype created by "unfair" economists, media experts and intellectual community who understand the crisis situation in the country's economy as against the government's tendency to withhold uncomfortable data or give incorrect or continuously revised version of data to confuse and misguide the nation. The RBI report has also acknowledged the economic slowdown. However, experts are sceptical if these measures announced by our FM...

Good, At Long Last Article 370 Stands Abrogated

It has never ever been a secret with nor concealed by BJP that the party stands for the revocation of Article 370 in J&K. A special status the state was enjoying since independence due to this Article 370 has been abrogated. For whatever consequences the step taken by our PM Modi is daringly drastic. Today the people are bothered about the consequences of the government's dramatic action. I think the government is aware of the consequences and hopefully the government must have plans for next actions. The earlier governments sat through for decades on Article 370 thinking it will dissolve by itself in the passage of time. It did not. Rather the special status granted to J&K complicated the veracity of expectations among the people in the state. Many questions are raised today after the abrogation on establishing normalcy,  end of terrorist activities,  Kashmiri Hindus going back to their homeland,  control on cross boarder terrorism,  action a...
