Congress : The Party In Terminal Decline
After Nehru, Congress did the worst to perpetuate his family holding over the party to wrest power by killing internal democracy in the party. The very democratic spirit within the party was conspicuously murdered to promote the family owned leadership. The Nehru family went on promoting her longevity to run the party. The same practice is still continuing. The ego of the family is so big that they would not learn from the shameless condition of the party is in now. The sycophancy further distorted the reality when the leaders became answerable to a family than the people of India. That is why today the congress party is looking at failures in every state and national election, saving its face only with a select few who are able to win votes despite the central leadership and not because of it. Today, there is no reason left for an Indian voter to consider the Congress Party apart from nostalgia. They have simply failed to deliver on the expectations of both Bharat and India. Many may argue if it is because of egocentric Sonia Gandhi or an incompetent Rahul Gandhi or a loss of political vision - but the truth is that today Congress party offers India nothing except mindless protests as opposition party without vision and forward strategic plans. The party still has think tanks but they are not allowed the freedom to develop and bring out of them a dynamic and a mass leader to steer the party to an intended direction. Groupism and factionalism - the most pivotal factors leading to downslide and bringing in adverse results and making the party with more number of leader’s followers than party followers. There is a total absence of internal democracy and grass root level workers. The booth level workers have totally been demoralised and demolished. Dynastic, private and personal dominance cannot allow sustenance to a national party any longer and must be understood sooner the better.
Absolutely right, everyone will agree with you
