Mahua Moitra's Expulsion

It is so ludicrous that TMC MP Mahua Moitra has been expelled from the Parliament by those who used words like '50 crore girlfriend' and 'Congress's widow' from the same camp now hoisting the flag of ethics and dignity. No action has been initiated against BJP MP Nishikant Dubey's 'nagar vadhu' tweet attacking Mahua Moitra and Dipika Singh, Ramesh Bidhuri's communal slurred abuses at BSP MP Kunwar Danish Ali during a discussion on Chandrayaan-3 though much before Ms Moitra controversy over cash-for-query scandal. Bidhuri's gutter brand abuses have still not been taken so seriously by the parliament when the entire house along with the speaker Om Birla witnessed his street brand despicable action. Taking up of Ms Moitra's case by parliament's Ethics Committee that recommended her expulsion for alleged violation of secrecy and tabled it's about 500 page report to be discussed after 2 hours in the lower house of parliament in such an indecent haste, where Ms Moitra was notably not given the opportunity to speak and more importantly without cross examining the corporate businessman Darshan Hiranandani — all these expose the nefarious Intentions of ruling BJP. Mahua Moitra has admitted sharing her Parliament login ID and password with businessman friend Hiranandani. Why has Hiranandani been spared? Where is he?

The irony of situation is this that MPs like Brij Bhusan Saran Singh carrying allegations of sexual harassment levelled against him by six women wrestlers, Union Minister Ajay Mishra Teni referred to farmers as ‘barking dogs’ after his son Ashish Mishra allegedly rammed his car over farmers and killed 6 in Lakhimpur Kheri,  Anurag Thakur sloganing to incite a gathering with  "देश के गद्दारों को गोली मारो सालों को", and PM Modi while seeking votes from the public in Rajasthan, had said that pressing the lotus button would be like giving a death sentence to Congress -- all are allowed to sit in Parliament!!!!!

To add salt to injury, Mr Danish Ali, who was abused by "सांस्कृतिक" MP of ruling party Ramesh Bidhuri, has been suspended from his BSP party...Such a brazen act of intimidation of opposition leaders, inaction by Lok Sabha Speaker is a pointer towards muzzling of dissent..a dangerous sign!!!

Nobody can deny that BJP's actions against corruption are arbitrary and always targeted against the opposition only. BJP has unashamedly become a washing machine for cleaning the dirty laundry of other political parties. 

The nation saw defectors being flown to Delhi from the state of West Bengal by a special chartered flight to join the BJP. On 30th January 2021 , BJP strongman Amit Shah sent a chartered plane to fly six Trinamool Congress men, including one former minister and two MLAs, to New Delhi after his Bengal tour got cancelled. This was something West Bengal hadn’t seen before.

Eventually, the joining ceremony had to be cancelled at the eleventh hour following an explosion in front of the Israel Embassy in the capital. However soon the party decided on an occasion to facilitate the defectors to join BJP. Later corrupt TMC leaders fell prey to the arm twisting tactics of BJP, apprehending summons by the CBI or ED, ran to join the saffron party. The same tactics were used in Maharashtra. Modi is still at the centre of attack over the split in Sharad Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) with nine of its MLAs led by Ajit Pawar joining the BJP-Shiv Sena (Shinde) government in Maharashtra. Modi lied openly while addressing a rally at Bhopal a few days before he bragged guarantee to jail all found corrupt. Ajit Pawar who was earlier chased by all enforcing agencies was made Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra. There are no raids by agencies in BJP HQ, party offices, establishments, residence of tainted Ministers and politicians to investigate the flow of money spent to buy MLAs, transport the rebel Shinde group MLAs to Surat, from there to Guwahati and back to Mumbai. Money too played a vital role for BJP in toppling the local governments in Goa, Karnataka and MP.

The despotic mindset of BJP is misusing democracy to eliminate the Opposition with the help of money power and Central agencies.
