PNB SCAM - RBI NEEDED TO BE TUFF

The PNB scam made many people feel that we as a citizen have no option than to choose a better evil. Evil cannot be graded as good, better and best. Evil is evil. What are politicians need no definition. Critical attitude to question the govt on deliverance may only force the govt in power to mend their ways. Total bhakti allows the govt to sit relaxed as is the case in reference with this govt. RBI questioned and issued notices twice against such LOU transactions way back in August 2016. Bank cannot issue LOU for a period more than 3 months. Here in PNB scam case multiple LOUs were issued for a period of one year. The fact remains the Finance Ministry ignored the RBI objections. Now the PMO also has no answer. Moreover LOUs were issued one after the other on behalf of PNB to offset the payment through Society of Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication, or SWIFT. PNB sources say the bank isn’t fully integrated on a Core Banking System (CBS) which could have immediately dete

PNB SCAM

Today people need to understand as to how the big companies are patronized by the ruling govts to help them indulge in frauds for years till they amass huge money so that they can live in same lifestyle after running way from the country. Vijay Mallya, Lalit Modi and now Nirav Modi and his maternal uncle Mehul Choksi are the cases in reference. Today both - the Congress & BJP are playing politics by blaming each other but the fact remains while it is difficult for a common man and the needy to avail loan from the bank, the rich keep getting loans repeatedly inspite of defaulting to pay back not once but many times for years. Such big wig defaulters are not pressured by banks to the extent of forcing them to commit suicides just like our poor farmers who take recourse to such step under desperate humiliation and constant chasing by the bank. How the 367 LOUs issued on Nirav Modi and Choksi went unnoticed for all these years since 2011?. Out of 367, 211 were issued under BJP govt.

Union Budget for the FY 2018-19 is out. The budget has tricked the common man again with rosy dreams and new lollipops as the promises made earlier could not be implemented so far. This has been Finance Minister Arun Jaitley’s 5th and last budget of his govt’s tenure. Now let’s see if the budget has been crafted after keeping April- May 2019 election in mind. A budget makes a great economic statement of a country through its aim to boost industry, agriculture and rural economy, create employment opportunity, generate investment, demand and productivity, keep sufficient provision for education, health care and social protection. EMPLOYMENT : The govt failed in her promise to generate one crore employment a year. Only paltry less than 3 lac employment was generated ever since it came to power in 2014. The govt seems to have realised that she failed in her promise because of lack of vision and realistic plan for job creation and prepare the economy of the country to meet the requir
