CORONAVIRUS : WHY FIRE FIGHTING NOW

The lies manufactured at troll stations in India and by NRI bhagats dished out through social media as Modi propaganda have sizably blinded many. Country is passing through an acute economic slow down. No body is bothered. There was complete unpreparedness to fight coronavirus. No body will talk. It concerns none that the government wasted more than two months as it was engaged in Hindu Muslim hate war of speeches to accelerate tension, insecurity and riots. It matters nothing that the interest and concentration of the government have been to topple state assembly and highjack and buy the legislators to usurp power. Lust for power in state assembly were far more supreme in the wish list of the ruling BJP than promptly dealing with the pandemic. To make the matter worse around 1500 Tabhligi Jamat followers which also included foregners entered the  Nizamuddin Markaz on 13 and 15th March, 2020. Who allowed them to enter the Delhi Markaz in such a large number and how they could  j

Candle Mightier than Sarkari Bandobast to Fight Coronavirus….

The nation is getting restless as she is inching towards the moment now to switch off their lights at 9 pm for 9 minutes. To show our solidarity I will also do what our PM has appealed us to do.  The point is there is no doubt about our unity. The country is not lacking on unity. It is due to our unity we won freedom; it is due to our unity we are running a successful democracy and; it is due to our unity our country is maintaining her unique identity in the world. We are one, we are secular. We value what is human and we reject that is inhuman. We love creation in all forms without discrimination. We love inclusiveness. This is the concept of Indian spirituality. The nation cannot be destroyed and harmed if there is an atmosphere of peaceful coexistence of all communities. And thus unity is not possible if the nation is lashed day in and out with communal and divisive politics, minorities served with insults at slightest opportunity and the poor or lower castes are discriminated

9-Minute Switch Off : Power Professionals at Tenterhooks

Even the 9-minute power switch off is going to put the professionals, engineers and techies of power industry on tenterhooks. It is going to be a very trying situation for them when the entire around 300 million power consumers of the nation will switch off their lights at 9 pm for 9 minutes tomorrow the 5th April, Sunday. Worries are purely technical. The power is generated, transmitted and then distributed through state load dispatch centres (SLDCs) which keep the supply going on the basis of demand by the state distribution companies (DISCOMs). The SLDCs keep updating the demand to power generation companies like NTPC or any other every 15 minutes in a day of 96 slabs of time blocks. SLDCs have to ensure that the frequency of power run through the grid line is maintained between 48.5 and 51.5 hertz lest the generation collapses. It is going to be the trying moment of 10 minutes for SLDCs. The risk of generation collapse and consequent power outage is due to fluctuation in Dem

NATURE PUNISHES US FOR OVERCONSUMPTION

Many of us have started relating the outbreak of coronavirus as nature's punishment to mankind for destroying her wild beauty and spirituality. The reason behind such thought has been that over the centuries, we have witnessed the wrath of nature in forms of epidemics like plague, tuberculosis, smallpox and polio, severe natural disasters like fires, floods, hurricanes, tsunamis and earthquakes that impacted entire countries as well as individuals, and resulted in enormous material and emotional damage. It is often debated if such natural catastrophes could be avoided. Another way of looking at such turbulences on earth are natural ecological catastrophes for earth’s natural course of development.  English novelist Thomas Hardy loved all his life the tract of South England which he called Wessex for hills, dales, heaths, rivers, meadows and woodlands and these appear and reappear in one novel after another. But in his love of Nature there is nothing mystic or transcendenta
