Discourage to Question is to Murder the Culture of Democracy

Critical analysis of deliverance is very vital for democracy. For that people must question those in power and not allow them to remain settled in the cozy couch of complacency. More the  criticism in numbers more the hope for giving the opportunity to the government in power to mend her ways towards improvement and rise up to the hopes and aspirations of the people. Absence of questioning encourages the government to cover up their false and irresponsible promises with rude, callous and autocratic arrogance even to the extent of not caring for the Constitutional sanctity. It is a sad state of our democracy wherein the institution of our great Constitution has been abused and disrespected to the maximum today. We never saw over the years people like Ms Pooja Shakun Panday organising public gathering of Hindu Mahasabha, shooting Mahatma Gandhi's effigy that too on 30th January this year. No legal action on Ms Pandey has been initiated and also on those who garlanded the statue of Mahatma Gandhi's assassin, Nathuram Godse to celebrate 30th January as Shaurya Diwas. No one was condemned as anti national. The theatrics of Anupam Kher, feet licking of power to be, Prasoon Joshi and the PM Modi were not heard demanding legal action against these frustrated impotent paranoids. The reason is obvious. All are the part of saffron brigade. Ms Pandey is a regular in all RSS & BJP gatherings with their prominent leaders. Even the bhagwa  clad Yogi Adityanath, CM of UP challenges the Supreme Court publicly assuring solving the disputed Ram Mandir case if SC can't.

Our Constitutional democracy has been denigrated to Political democracy by such political cronies to plague the nation. The political parties draw their manifesto to bargain with the voters with long list of promises in return of our votes. The voters in the bargain forget that political parties are bound to safeguard the constitutional rights of the people in return of their votes. Party manifestos are today used as bargaining tools instead of assuring the voters to fulfill their hopes and aspirations as per the laid down conditions in the most elaborate and voluminous Constitution of India.

In the light of above we must question the government to register our alertness. Many voters may not be impressed by Maya, Mamata, Rahul, Akhilesh or anyone in so called grand alliance either. So the option of NOTA comes handy. Vast multitude of disillusioned youth, frustrated farmers, owners of small manufacturing units, MSMEs, private sector jobless work force, the poor and the intelligentsia are most likely to press NOTA button on the EVM this 2019 election.
The government deserves shock and jerk for long.
