WHO SET DELHI ON FIRE????

I deliberately reacted late lest my voice get buried under the debris of lie traffic in WA and social media. I reacted late because the riot situation restrained me and my alert senses guided me to sensibly watch the critical situation before I pen down my studied observations on Delhi, the capital city.

Inaction on the part of administration, police and the government, more importantly the Home Ministry pained us all to see the BJP has wilfully let Delhi burn as the government machinery allowed the violence to go on for 3 days unabated.

Not a single FIR was lodged against the hate mongers till on Wednesday  Justice S Muralidhar of Delhi High Court very sternly showed his anguish towards Delhi police, the speeches of hate statements by politicians and the inaction of Union Home Ministry in particular. Thereafter 106 hooligans arrested and 48 FIRs have been lodged.

Justice Murlidhar is transferred. The timing, and again the all-in-night act the government chose to transfer Justice Muralidhar, to the Punjab and Haryana High Court, who raised sharp questions on the Delhi riots are enough to doubt the intentions of BJP government. What was the hurry to transfer him overnight? The government could have waited for another 3-4 days to hear the sides of Delhi police, hate speakers and even the government. After all Justice Muralidhar has illustrious record of bold verdicts which include giving justice to victims of Bhopal Gas Disaster, relief to displaced inhabitants around Narmada dam, revocation of transit remand of activist Gautam Navlakha in the Bhima Koregaon case and conviction of politician Sajjan Kumar in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots case. Well his clean profile may have prompted BJP government to transfer him in a huff to save herself from encountering any uncomfortable situation in the course of hearing and possibly getting exposed. BJP always had a bad luck with the court especially when it comes to manoeuvre legal tangles. Hope the new bench of Dhirubhai Naranbhai Patel will favour the country and the victims of riot with its learned findings and landmark judgement. The Delhi high court today gave the Centre four weeks to file a counter-affidavit in response to a plea seeking registration of FIRs against politicians for making incendiary statements that allegedly incited mob attacks and riots in North East Delhi. The matter will now be heard on April 13.

I have been expressing my apprehensions of uncontrollable flair ups and law and order situation in the country due to the way RSS/BJP allowed her leaders the freedom to cross all barriers to make incendiary and communally charged statements and slogans ever since they came into power and more so during upcoming  Delhi Assembly elections. You name anybody - from Amit Shah to Yogi Aditya Nath to Anurag Thakur to Parvesh Varma to Abhay Verma and now Kapil Mishra -- all tried their worst to spread poison. The hate speeches of BJP leaders while addressing rallies ahead of Delhi elections had already spewed so much poison that ballooned to burst into riots today. The threat speech of Kapil Mishra against the CAA agitators with dire consequences in the presence of police force did the rest to trigger the unfortunate riots.

Mob frenzy took an ugly turn of crude communal violence after the foundation laid on political motive of polarization.

34 died including a policeman, more than 200 injured (two of the police officers seriously) and a huge loss of property reported till now. Also the daily wagers worst affected are on the street.

Delhi CM made relief announcements for those affected due to riots but only one knows well how the nail pinches in one's own boot.

There was total collapse of government machinery. Even the High Court took exception to Delhi police which allowed the mayhem to persist for 3 days. It is well understandable the police seems to have been constrained on two grounds. One, the Delhi police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik was not available on the riot hit spots to lead the force to immediately deal with the situation professionally. Just a few days before his retirement it was more important for Mr Patnaik to pass transfer orders of the officers of his department. Whose instruction of inaction he was following is not difficult to understand.  Two, Delhi riots of 2020 are due to deliberate attempts by the BJP to polarise the country on religious grounds. It is a fact that Delhi police working under home minister Amit Shah failed to control riots in Delhi. PMO had to depute Ajit Kumar Doval, National Security Advisor (NSA) to visit the riot hit localities, assure justice, take stock of the situation and report the PMO.

While Amit Shah has been missing in action, the junior home minister  demanding action against news platforms whose reports of the violence have proved embarrassing for the government.

It is high time to realise that the government is systematically hammer driving the poison of communal hatred deep into the skull so that people should produce violent hooligans, gundas, goons, rapist and murderers out of their children to kill the likes Akhlaq, Pehlu Khan, Police Inspector Subodh Kumar Singh or Kathua and Unnao rapists!!!!

In Delhi riots we have the same type of crowd nurtured out of communal indoctrination injected into the minds to raise them as frenzied hooligans and murderers and thus IB Security Assistant Ankit Sharma, Head Constable Delhi Police Ratan Lal, among locals Virbhan, Mehtab, Dipak, Furkan, Rahul Solanki, Vinod, Muddasar, Ishq Khan, Mubarak Husain, Pravesh, Shan Mohammad, Zaqir, Asfaq Husain, Rahul Thakur -- to name a few are killed in riot. Now it is most likely to open new doors of politics as to debate on the hindu muslim death ratio in the riots so as to get solace from death count based on religion. This is the value of life for the politicians.

Beware and know your death dealers distributing poison to create hooligans out of your children than engineers, doctors, teachers and balanced human beings.
