CORONAVIRUS : WHY FIRE FIGHTING NOW
The lies manufactured at troll stations in India and by NRI bhagats dished out through social media as Modi propaganda have sizably blinded many. Country is passing through an acute economic slow down. No body is bothered. There was complete unpreparedness to fight coronavirus. No body will talk. It concerns none that the government wasted more than two months as it was engaged in Hindu Muslim hate war of speeches to accelerate tension, insecurity and riots. It matters nothing that the interest and concentration of the government have been to topple state assembly and highjack and buy the legislators to usurp power.
Lust for power in state assembly were far more supreme in the wish list of the ruling BJP than promptly dealing with the pandemic.
To make the matter worse around 1500 Tabhligi Jamat followers which also included foregners entered the Nizamuddin Markaz on 13 and 15th March, 2020.
Who allowed them to enter the Delhi Markaz in such a large number and how they could jump medical check up for corona infection at the airport are matter of grave concern nobody discussing. The irresponsible act of Jamat as many followers carrying infection with them also cannot be condoned. It created a panic of infecting the killing virus.
Now see the seriousness of our government to fight the disease.
On 13th March the Health Ministry says corona is not a "health scare". Lack of seriousness of government to deal with the killer disease is not difficult to understand.
Gathering of more than 50 was disallow on 16th March.
Till 16th March, Mumbai's Siddhi Vinayak and Ujjain's Mahakaleshwar temples were open for public. No ban on gathering was observed in these temples.
Till 17th March Shirdi's Sai Baba Mandir and Shani Shingnapur Mandir in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra were open for public.
Mata Vaishno Devi Temple was not closed till 18th March.
On 19th March any gathering of more than 20 was disallowed.
On 21st March gathering of more than 5 was disallowed.
Yet Kashi Vishwanath Mandir was not closed till 20th March.
For the first time on 19th March PM Modi talks about social distancing through Janta curfew. Before this we are assured by the government that there was "no health scare" in the country.
The RSS BJP is still playing communal politics with corona outbreak. They are now putting all blame on Tablighi Jamaat and silent on the government's callous attitude to take the disease with serious concern.
Even the Parliament session functioned till 23rd March. BJP Member of Parliament Dushyant Singh had attended a party in Lucknow with singer Kanika Kapoor, who was tested positive for coronavirus.
Two days after coming in contact with Kanika Kapoor, Singh attended Lok Sabha and had met with multiple MPs and even President Ram Nath Kovind, thus leaving behind a trail of possible COVID-19 infection. Many had to go on quarantine.
On 23rd March itself oath ceremony takes place in Madhya Pradesh amid a gathering of 300 which also included corona positive attendees.
A troll or propaganda never allows the most important questions to be raised in the midst of a crisis. And those who question are discarded as "misguided/so called intellectuals", deshdrohi, anti national and what not.
Take it from me Modi’s silence on essential supplies during 21-day national lockdown sets off panic and insecurity especially among the daily wage poor labourers. The already killed economy must remain ready for further set back.
According to Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, India has 4,281 confirmed cases, 111 deaths and 310 cured / discharged / migrated cases as on 6th April, 2020.
Where we dropped the ball is testing. Testing is too slow due to lack of facilities. As per ICMR update, a total of 1,01,068 samples have been tested as on 06 April 2020, 9 PM IST. 4135 individuals have been confirmed positive among suspected cases and contacts of known positive cases in India. Had the government woke up a bit earlier from her slumber and inaction!!!!
