2nd Wave of Corona Exposes Government's Failure

What one can expect from pigeon headed stupids like the CM of Uttarakhand and many BJP leaders when they say faith will defeat pandemic and allow devotees throng Kumbh Mela during the highest COVID surge with full impunity!!!  Only those lacking in education will close their mind to accept the logic of science. So are the people. They get the government they deserve. More than 3000 confirmed cases of Corona have come to light in Haridwar. More are likely to be Corona affected as the virus takes a week to develop in the human body after infection. Just see that the ranting paranoid Arnab Goswami and so are the lapdog media is not at all concerned as it was as regard to 2500 Tablighis who were criminalised through media trial. On 15 December 2020, Delhi court dismissed all cases against detained Tablighis. Court noted that the accused were not present at the site and were picked up from different places and maliciously prosecuted under the directions of controversial far right Hindu nationalist Amit Shah and his ministry of home affairs.

All I mean to drive at is when it comes to science and logic no one is a saint not even the Tablighis. I am not supporting the Tablighi Jamat. Any gathering in pandemic has to be discouraged instead of mere victimization, FIRs and creating communal narrative and then only to be kicked by the court to get back to square one. I am not anti Hindu or anti any religion. Hinduism never taught me to be inhuman and follow the path of exclusiveness. Yes I am against those who are at the helm of affairs giving loose rope to those to hang and perish. Any gathering during increase in cases of Corona that too of massive dimensions are nothing short of abetting people into the jaws of death for suicide. 

States including Maharashtra, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal are among the worst-hit during the current wave of Covid19.

Are the priorities to Kumbh and elections bigger than to ignore the life risk of the millions?

All states were shouting for shortages of vaccine, oxygen etc. I have also been searching in all government sites and portals to access the quantity of vaccine received by government from various sources and thereby state wise distribution and vaccine utilisation record. There is no authentic government data. From where various newspapers, media, political party spokespersons or state government coming out with data is of anybody's guess and hence undependable data. That is why the blame game and cock fight. 

It took a fortnight for the PM to call proverbial 8PM meeting yesterday the 17th April. Still no data and no action plan to deal with Kumbh and elections gatherings. 

Modern management works on specifics rather than vague generalization. 

Don't get sentimental. It is against rationality.
