Question The Government To Improve

One will see the improvement in government if the majority in the nation learn to question it.

I am very clear in my mind. No confusion. Rather I am in pain that even my best friends have read me in a most incorrect way. Or I have not been read at all as I should have been and understood because I speak, I question. I question RSS, BJP, and more importantly Modi ji as all are related to the present government. In fact I question the Power to be. The followers do not like whoever questions the government. Simultaneously the leader as usual does not like to be questioned. He seldom attends, leave aside question hour, even normal parliament sessions; the leader who never faces the press and even answers the question raised by well read conscious citizens like me. The poster boy mugshot portraits on government Apps and all documents except death certificates are for self publicity rather than reaching out to people on one-to-one basis. He has no courage to face and answer dissent.

And now my take. We live in a democracy. I trust in democracy. My one vote will not decide the future of democracy. It is the collective vote of citizens or the public or the janta will decide for an option or to continue with the existing one. But yes, the people have to speak, raise uncomfortable questions against behaviour of those in power for recalibrating and fine tuning the system, political atmosphere and governance and so as not to make the government feel complacent to bring change or improvement. I am doing all this. I speak, I question and also request all to speak.

This government is ducking it's duties on constitutional issues. Hence I speak.

When people blindly follow the government, the government sits complacent. The government will use it's media machinery to keep us within 70 years, mandir, masjid, church, hindu, musalman, caste and communal agenda in order to cloak the real issues of inflation, corruption, favouritism, law and order, atrocities on women, poverty, food, clothing, shelter, schools, arterial roads inside villages, water supply, health and education, jobs, right price for farm produce, promotion of small and cottage industries…. the list is long. These issues were always there in every government. But should we not speak and question to catch the lies?

Farmers' agitation has proved what I have been saying for long. Speak, speak and speak. Let all speak. Speak together. We are concerned with the government in power. We are the opposition outside parliament. So speak. Have courage to speak. Have a sense of discrimination as what to speak. I will not resign and sit complacent to accept what is available as blatant lies and misrepresentation of facts without protest and thereby try to expose the government so as not also allow her to sit complacent with the thinking that the citizens are as satisfied as beggars with their alms. So I speak and encourage others to speak.

Hope I have been able to drive my point.
